All this over a scuffed Puma

Just got off the phone with Kasper.  He’s going to be off the air for a while.  Maybe you heard him on Spezzano and Sandy this morning.  Kasper had a rough weekend.  Apparently as he was leaving an East Avenue bar late on Saturday night someone stepped on his new kicks.   Kasper verbally responded.  Now, if you know Kasper, you know he’s harmless.  He surely wasn’t trying to start something with anybody.  He can’t weigh more than a buck fifteen, wet.  But he said something to the wrong guy at the wrong time, and this guy and his posse jumped him.  rocky_balboa.jpg

So Kapser spent a good part of yesterday in the hospital with some serious facial injuries.  I’m not saying he was right or wrong.  But no one deserves to look like Rocky Balboa in the 12th round over a smart-ass comment about someone stepping on your foot.   That’s not cool.  Anyone out around there on Saturday night?  Someone has to have a video of this.  I’ve gotta think 10 guys betaing up on 3 is an attention grabber.

Listen every afternoon this week for FREE tickets to Panic at the Disco at R.I.T.  I’ll hook you up.

More in a bit…

That makes me sick. My boyfriend had a huge black eye after an incident of stupidity while dirnking last fall. The black eye is still going away….very faint now, thank goodness.

But, over shoes? Isn’t that how the war between the Bloods and the Crypts started?!?!?!

  2. Thats what you get... Says:

    Let me guess…

A small and probably drunk dude gets into an altercation with a bigger guy and gets beaten to a pulp….wow…shocker.

    It should happen more often…

I dont get why some people think they are so hard yet they are about the size of your average 12 year old girl….

He probably deserved it along time ago…

Lesson learned…at least I hope so for his sake…

Napoleon complex. I’m not totally disagreeing with what you are saying. Pretty sure Kasper popped off at the mouth when he shouldn’t have. But, IMO, NO ONE should get their face smashed in over a smart ass comment.
You’re right. The best that can come out of this is a lesson learned. Hopefully on both sides of the disagreement.

THE WAY I SAW IT, EVERYBODY TAKES A BEATING SOMETIMES.

  5. TerryJ Says:

I guess you should check your resources of course the guy that gets beat up has an excuse. What about the part he left out or you left out about him following the guy outside with three bouncers and surrounding him. I guess your boy got what he deserved. Its to bad that Casper has a complex of that hes untouchable, I am sure he doesnt feel that way anymore…..

I’m not disagreeing with what you’re saying, but “my boy” DID NOT get what he deserved, because NO ONE deserves a beat down like that. I don’t care what he said or who did what to who. If you’re going out for drinks in this town, none of us should have to worry about coming home with a smashed up face. That’s the biggest point I’ve been trying to get across to people I’ve talked to about this incident. You’re right though, this will be a life-changing experience for all involved, and hopefully some hard lessons have been learned.

  7. What the heck Says:

Seriously kids, the use of physical force should be lmited to what is required to protect yourself. the cowards (10 I hear) litteraly kicking someone while they’re down is overkill. Kasper was not a threat, therfore there was no need to continue.

If he asked for anything, it wasn’t more than a bit of return vberbal abuse, & perhaps a shove. once someone is on the ground, you win. Continuing to beat on someone who is clearly not a threat is the act of a coward..

To the people that did this, & we know you are reading this, it you are so sure you are in the right, then grow a pair & turn yourselves in, take you bow & move on. if you were right, then it wont be an issue. bit if you went beyond, then be prepared to face what you deserve.

  8. Logan Says:

There is nothing in the world that would grant someone the right to beat on somebody the way they did! Be a man and have some honor! 10 against 3 GROW UP!!!

I really think its ridiculas that if someone steps on your sneaker you can’t say anything back. because let me tell you if someone would have stepped on my foot i would have said something too. I think those douche bags will get caught because rochester is small and no matter where you live i think those douche bags were bored and wanted to fight and so there ya go ..no real reason other then thinking they are macho but its truly disgusting and a reason why downtown is getting a bad name because people dont know how to act.. i for one dont go out anymore because people dont know how to act. I am not saying im a saint but think back to when we could smoke in the bars, some girl ashed on me for no reason, and i totally bitched her out but no fists were thrown words were said but thats about it. I dont blame kasper at all and it sucks what i dont get is there are police everywhere how could they not have caught them? i didnt hear the entire story i read it in your blog because im a dedicated reader!
