		<description>I was five when the Simpsons first came out, and my dad wouldn't let me watch it because he thought it was a "sick and disgusting cartoon."

I wasn't allowed to watch anything that used the word sex, or disgussed sex.

There have been a few boyfriends that my parents didn't like, but of course I would continue to date anyway.

Nothing too serious I guess, my parents were pretty good with me.</description>
