Viscious beating

If you heard any of Spezzano and Sandy this morning, then you heard me take a verbal beat down at the hands of Sandy and pretty much every female listening.

I’M A GUY! Cut me a LITTLE slack. I always try to do the right thing. Sometimes things get misunderstood and all of a sudden I’m a bad husband because “I don’t listen”.

I will continue to hold ground when it comes to my opinions on this matter. They are:

1. Three Olives grape vodka and Sprite is a nasty flavor combination. I mean, grape…and Lymon??? Puke. Tonic is a far superior mixer and would’ve been enjoyed if given the chance.

2. If you’re sick and I bring medicine…TAKE IT! Yes, I heard you ask for a specific brand. Guess what? IT’S NOT WORKING! Try the stuff that might actually work for you before killing me for going out of my way to try and be a good guy.

Allow me to provide every now and then! I actually live for it!

Like most guys, I screw up. Like most guys, some things you say to me will go in one ear and out the other. You may need to nag. I may complain about said nagging. Can’t help it. You are a greater gender. I cannot compete.

There, I said it. I truly believe women, on the whole, are smarter than men.

I also believe dogs are smarter than women!

That’s just a joke…really, it is.

Love ya, girls!

    Danger,

I feel for you. Yes, you males can only seem to comprehend one command at a time, BUT when you make the effort to try to do what we ask (or demand as the case may be) that’s when us women (Sandy) needs to swallow our pride and say “thank you” for at least trying. Good luck to you. You’re going to need it, at least until, what, November?

My ex boyfriend (who I still live with…weird) has celebrated my birthday, with or without me. He wants me back, and is doing everything possible…

Cure tickets were something he promised to buy me.

I told him not to bother now, but no, he still insisted… (I’m getting to something here, I promise)

He came home last night, and through down a pair of tix: Just off to the left of the stage, front row, really awesome…and better than the pair I had bought MYSELF last August before they cancelled their September tour.

So…I looked at him and asked him if he remembered my dillema about it, and how I had decided on Floor tickets this time around just to be that much closer to the stage.

    He looked shocked.

“But Ash, the floors were sold out. The scalpers have them, and you know it…We’ll trade them up, and I’ll throw down more money to get you floors the night of…”

Honestly…I should be thankful my ex is buying me tickets still, and I know what he said is true, so I really should have put all my worries aside and said thank you immediately.

We all do it. But, we do feel bad.
