Gotta love the guy who kicks it old school.  This may as well be me, btw.  I’m not anti-tech by any means, but if I’m taking notes…pen and paper all the way.  Also, look at all of the Macs! This is like Bill Gates chilling nightmare of the future. I feel like a “cool kid” now because I convinced Sandy that we should invest in a Macbook Pro.

A lot of my thoughts have been consumed by the April 29th release of Grand Theft Auto IV. I can’t wait to hit the streets. Expect me to call in with a lot of “pink eye”.

I spent Thursday and Friday of last week in NYC for a “new artist showcase”. The Veronicas is a group you may (or may not) have heard of.

Sisters from Australia. Kind of like if the Olsen twins were musicians. They weren’t bad…but I didn’t hear a song that screamed “hit.”

Regardless, New York is always fun. Got to hang with friends , but noticed something while at dinner.
There was a point in the evening when I scanned our dinner table and noticed EVERYONE on their phones. Texting, talking, checking e-mail, etc…Our lives are controlled by technology. Think about it. Could you survive without the internet? How long can you go without checking your phone? Has your man ever blown off sex with you to engage in something having to do with electronics?

I’ll use myself as an example. I’m a gamer. If I get into a video game, it isn’t uncommon for me to spend hours at a time playing. Sandy might disagree, but I make a conscious effort to NEVER let my love for gaming get in the way of my responsibilities as a husband or father. The last thing I want to see happen is for my wife to become my ex-box.

Saw this last week and freaked out! Did you know they’re making a G.I. Joe live action movie? They cast the guy who played Darth Maul in Star Wars to play Snake Eyes.

Look closely at this picture. You can actually hear bones breaking. Soooo bad ass.
